Social studies is the study of social relationships and the functioning of society and usually made up of courses in history, government, economics, civics, sociology, geography, and anthropology.

Objective:

  • Identify the role of different branches of sciences and their implications on society.
  • To test the students’ skills in observation, identification, description, experimental investigation and theoretical explanation of phenomena.
  • To inculcate scientific temper.
  • To create awareness of the contribution of great mathematicians and scientists.
  • To invoke curiosity.
